Dr. Helena Dean
Dr. Helena Dean opened Dean Veterinary Hospital in 2004. Dean Veterinary Hospital offers veterinary care for numerous species in hospital and in a mobile capacity as well. Dr. Dean went to Leaside High School in Leaside, Ontario. She then completed a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Guelph and a Degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario. Dr. Dean has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1989 and over the years has had the pleasure of working on not only dogs, cats and horses but pocket pets and pot-bellied and mini pigs. Dr. Dean currently lives in Caledon on her farm with her horses and donkeys (Oswald and Daisy). Outside of work Dr Dean enjoys walking dogs on her farm, riding her horse and swimming.
Dr. Krista Kean
Krista graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2006 after fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating she joined a small animal practice in King City, Ontario where she was thrilled to put into practice everything that she had learned while in veterinary school. After meeting her husband five years later, Krista moved to Burlington, Ontario where she worked at several local veterinary clinics and started a family. She now lives with her husband and two beautiful children in Richmond Hill, Ontario and is excited to have joined the warm and caring team at Kleinburg Veterinary Hospital.
Krista enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice including surgery, internal medicine, cardiology and especially caring for elderly pets and their unique needs.
When she’s not at work, Krista loves to spend time with her family and pets, including a hedgehog named “Emily”. She also has a passion for the fiber arts and enjoys macramé, knitting and crochet.
